Bottle from Odeed; Nose is very strong ciyrus hops with a little chocolate, coffee, and caramel; black with a medium cinnamon head; flavor of citrus, coffee, chocolate, and hop bitterness; almost like an ASA with all the hops but very dark color. A very different Imp Stout.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of Kramer17801. Pours a slightly hazy amber golden with an off-white head. Distinct aroma of pine and citrus. Medium body with lightly sweet, pale malts and then lots of sweetish, fruity accents from the aroma hops. Lovely. 060407

Sampled from Keg at the O-Town throwdown. Pours dark and very much stout-like with decent tan head. The aroma has a couple of nice things going for it with some burnt malts mixed with coffee along with a faint malted-chocolate milk shake. Sort of around the backside of the aroma I can sense some hop notes. Once this brew entered my mouth it seemed a bit thin. The flavor was a medley of notes such as dark coffee, some chocolatiness (is that a word?), burnt malts, a bit of cream soda and some hops.

Bottle. Young apple vinegar aroma - reminds me of my grandfather’s fruit cellar - mace seems to dominate. Dark brown color with small head. Flavor most like a spiced cider that has just started to turn or spiced applesauce made with over-ripe apples - again mace seems to be the dominant spice. Mild alcohol burn in the finish. I think I would like this better if the cinnamon came out more.

Bottle. NIce sweet orange-grapefruit hops aroma. Clear orange-yellow color with small head. Flavor an excellent sweet grapefruit and light malt. Moderate hops finish. Well blended - the bitterness doesn’t overwhelmed the beer. Very nice IPA.

Bottle from iowaherkeye, Thanks Joey! Nose of hoppy citrus; hazy gold with a small white head; flavor well balanced with caramel showing first, then the light hop bitterness, maybe too light for a pale ale.

Bottle from Beer_Hawk, Thanks! Nose of banana esters, and spices; very hazy "urine" yellow with a small white head; flavor is tart with some coriander and citrus notes and a liitle faint malt hint emanating from the medium body.

Bottle from unclemattie; nose smells like alfalfa and hops;, mixed with a tiny apricot fruitiness, unique hoppiness in the nose from other IPAs I’ve had. Color was amber with a small white head; flavor was sweet (fruity) hoppiness (akin to Moylan’s Hopsickle) in a sticky mouthfeel body, and a mild hop bitterness for the finish. Excellent!
