Description
SweetWater brewery has been makin’ tasty brews in the heart of the south since 1997. What started as a pipe dream of two college buddies has turned into a dream job full of great adventures and lip-smackin’ beers. What would you expect from a couple of boys with more of a hankering for beers than for books.

Thanks to brewbandit for this one. This has a floral hop aroma, a dirty-blonde body and a nice lacing. The flavor isn't as hoppy as I would like, but there is a nice malt backbone, a mild sweetness, and a slighty, woody character to it. Dry, citrus finish. This is quite enjoyable.

Thanks to T.A.R. for this solid IPA. I think it is every bit as good as Fuller's and Stone's version, but not on the scale of Buckeye '76 or Ruination. Light and hazy amber color with a medium bone white head. Resonant hops aroma with some citrus. Flavor is nicely sharp and crisp, consisting of floral hops, pine and citrus. Finish is rather dry with a nice bite. Not as intense as the great IPAs out there but it is good enough.

Light amber. Fruity aroma - berryish, slight apple skin. Light wood on the palate with faint breadcrust. Light malts support fruity, slightly citrusy hops.

Light bronze; sour apple & medicine aroma; curranty hops late - centennial maybe? Uneventful.

Muddy coloured; cappucino aroma - frothy milk, light roast, even vague chocolate. Palate fades quickly but shows a little bit of bitter chocolate.

Orangey-copper; aroma is orangey, sprucey...I hesitate to say this because some people will definitely cringe but it’s late and I’m feeling poetic so bugger it - like the forest in autumn after a good rain. The palate is a big, rich hop kick, with lean and mean hoppiness. By having hops that bring great flavour and bitterness without tanginess or resiny notes, you allow the pale malts to shine as well in their supporting role. Nobody is overcompensating with crystal malt here. Minty, biscuity middle and long, bitter finish. Damn fine balance. Constructed in the Bhagwan’s/Big Daddy mold, which seems to be my favourite for IPAs.

Very passable fruit beer. Thanks belgianhomebrew! Aroma was sweet and fruity. Pale gold with a medium bone white head. Flavor was reminiscent of a Witbier like Blue Moon. I honestly did not detect any blueberries in the flavor. On the scale of light, thin summer beers I couldn't find much wrong with it.
