Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy, slightly reddish golden with a rock solid, lacing white head with good retention. Weak aroma of nuts and citrus. Medium body, a hint of caramel but it's heavily attenuated so super dry. Lightly hoppy finish. Very drinkable. 190521

Sample, thanks fonefan! Cloudy amber, firm head. Funky nose with hat and minerals. Dry with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Brett, bread, minerals and floral hops. Mid bitter finish with some metal.

Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Dark yellow colour. Moderate malty and hoppy and yeasty aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter fnish. Creamy palate.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost clear, deep golden with a small, off-white head. Slightly malty nose but dominated by vague ginger though. Medium body, quite fizzy. A dry maltiness, slight biscuit and nuts with a dry and bitter finish. The ginger never seriously pulls through. A bit meh. 110521

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost opaque black with only a very vague, orange hue and a creamy, beige head. Much darker than most Brown Ales. Surprisingly little aroma, no real roast, only a sweet edge - vanillaish. Medium body, sweet - almost like milk chocolate - yet with a late, roasty note that creates some balance. Sort of odd but not exactly undrinkable. Confusing how looks and taste don't really work together. 100521

Bottle 33 cl. Pours golden with a slight haze and a small, off-white head. Discreet yet very much present aroma of strawberry - nice. Medium body, an initial slight sweetess with distinct notes of strawberries yet with a hoppy finish. Works surprisingly well considered how subtle a fruit strawberries are. 100521

Sample, thanks fonefan! Clear bronze colour, rich firm head. Fruity, somewhat ashy nose, Mid dry with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Bready with some floral hops, some ashy licorice. Really bitter finish. Actually harmonious, and better than my rating sounds...

Slightly cloudy amber, white froth. Mild malty and caramely aroma. Malty flavour, a little caramel, light hoppy bitterness. None - as in zero - of the promised ginger, other than a discrete spicyness in the finish.
