Description
Siren Craft Brew exists to encourage more people to enjoy, fall for and experiment with craft beer.
The Sirens of Greek mythology would entice mariners with their magical songs. Their voices would entwine into a complex, layered melody. At Siren Craft Brew, we work in a similar way, combining four ingredients that interact together in magical ways to create our ales. Each beer is individual, overflowing with flavour, aroma and texture. Each holds its own secret. Each is a little dangerous.
Liquid Mistress, Under Current, Sound Wave and Broken Dream are here to tease, sway and persuade. They gently beckon you to a new world of taste. Let yourself be carried away. Be enticed…

Cask at Craft Clerkenwell. It pours golden yellow with a medium white head. The nose is pungent hop, earth, pine, lots of tropical fruit, mango, passion fruit, varnish and a faint touch of spice. The taste is assertively bitter, resinous, pine, grapefruit, pithy tangerine, light mango, varnish with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Great balance and flavour. Looking forward to batch 2 already!

Craft Islington. Keg. Rich deep amber coloured beer. Little pale tan head. Palate is light and crisp. Fresh hop nose, nice. Mild minerals. Lovely fruit salad hops, tropical fruits and even a trace of forest fruits - tastes like Galaxy but less bitter. But no, wrong again - Ryan said these were also US hops. Finishes crisp. Really nice fruity beer!

Craft Islington. Keg. Light haze on this pale gold beer, little white head. Light palate and light crispness. Semi dry. Minerals. Lovely light hops. Light grapes and a little melon. Trace of tropical fruits. Would have sworn this was Nelson but Ryan said they were all US ’C’ hops I think. Light finish. Hugely drinkable and great hops!

Craft Islington. Cask. Opaque brown beer, little bubbly tan head. Palate is fresh and slightly dry. Mild carbonation. Tangy dark malt with vanilla chocolate. Good balance between the three. The chilli is nicely done, ie not too much! Starts in the mid and builds to a mellow heat. Finishes dry. Decent!
