Plastic barrel at The Chambers Folkestone. Hazy pale gold no head. Ok that has chilli and no mistake. But its the right side of being mouth burning. In fact the chili flavour is really tasty. Proper chillis went into this. Frankly the cider does come second. Some vague apple finish. Slap me on the bottom and call me Susan that is right on my chilli limit. Which admittedpy is quite comically low. But still. It gave me a sweat on.

Plastic barrel at The Chambers Folkestone. 6.8%. Cloudy pale gold no head. Gosh. Well its got ginger and then cider then some more ginger. Just a bizarre mix. More cidr than ginger. Doesnt really work. Ok though. Just. Bit of ginger heat.

On tap (plastic barrel) at the Planet Thanet beer festival. It pours very, very light straw yellow with a slight haze and no head. The nose is sweet pear, apple, pear drop boiled sweets and vanilla ice cream. The taste is vanilla, red pear, liquorice, mint and lime, with a soft-mouth-feel. It’s interesting, but a quite thin and overall too sweet.

Bag in a box at The Berry, Walmer, Kent. Haze, gold/green colour. Good green apple with some yeast. Very good in mouth, a little sweetness, but smooth as hell. Good building acid/tannin. Merry Moon make their cider on the East Stour kit.
