Bladder Bag at GBBF '22 day 4, 05/08/22. Moderately hazed golden yellow with a modest off white cap. Nose is mellow apple, sweetish elderflower syrup, straw. Taste comprises apple pulp, modest elderflower, grass, tannins, light wood. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, drying close. Ok flavoured cider but not as good as many elderflower contemporaries for me.

Bladder Bag at GBBF '22 day 4, 05/08/22. Lightly hazed golden yellow with a thin just off white cap. Nose is apple skin, straw, hedgerow, not much in the way of ginger. Taste comprises bitter sweet apples, light orchard wood, ginger more evident. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, light drying close. Passable as flavoured ciders go ... in fact not that bad ... at least not a silly sweet offering.= but nothing I'd revisit.

Taste comprises bitter sweet apple pulp, light orchard wood, modest chilli kick, light tannins. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, light drying close. Not terrible at all ... chilli is well balanced ... evident but not OTT.

Bag in a box at Red Lion Snargate Summer BF 2019. Hazy red pink colour no head. Wow the thyme really comes through. Some sweet strawberry flavour. Yes a little bit sweet. Some good thyme herb flavour. Yep. Alright.

BIAB sample from Leicester Beer Festival 2019, courtesy of Grumbo. Many thanks Graham! Amber gold colour, afew bubbles on top and aroma of astringent apple. Taste is sweetish, fruity, woody apple, some solventy funk, plus apple core & apple skin hints, with slight biscuity, cardboard, oxidised notes coming through. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, semi-dry finish. OK.

14/3/2019. From bag in box at the Leicester Beer Festival 2019. Pours hazy golden amber with a bubbly off-white head. Aroma of moderately sweet apples, caramel, wood and tannins. Medium sweetness, light bitterness and tartness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Dry, sweet caramel finish.

15/1/2019. From bag in box at The Chambers, Folkestone. Pours dark maroon purple with no head. Aroma of mulled spices, rum punch, apples, cinnamon and blackcurrant. Medium to heavy sweetness, hint of bitter/tartness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Sweet, spiced, dry, blackcurrant finish. Enjoyed it.

Cask at the GBBF 2018 day 5 11/08/2018. A hazed dull gold coloured pour with a a fading white head. Aroma is big spicy ginger, cola cubes, pear, tart apple. Flavour is composed of sweet, sugary apple, ginger. Cola, cubes,. Brandy snap, prickly pear. Palate is semi sweet, tangy, moderate carbonation.

Clear medium orange - amber yellow colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to heavy apple, tart apples, funky, barnyard. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a average to long duration, apple, tart apples, funky. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat. [20160810] 7-2-7-3-14

Bag in a box at The Lifeboat Margate. Slight haze gold rose colour no head. Sweetish raspberry flavour then some dryness. Quite tannin dry on the finish. Good balance. Sweet fruit upfront then dry tannic cider on the finish. Pretty good. Finish in particular is good.
