Keg @ Olde Rose & Crown, Walthamstow. Crisp golden lager with a thin head. There’s more nose than there is taste to this brew, but is palatable.

One-third pint, on tap at Tap East, shared with Finn. Clear late straw coloured body, dotted spots on the glass, white head. Moderate, mid-dry malt-fruity aromas. Slightly honeyed sweet malts to the taste character offset by grassy hops. Ends with pale malts, mid-sweet. Fair enough. (London 17.11.2021).

One-third pint, on tap at Tap East, shared with Finn. Firm white head blanketing the glass. Bright golden body. Pale malty nose, added by noble hops. Well balanced taste of cereal malts, grass, and noble hops. Drying end with discreet bitterness, clean in the mouth. Nice pilsener version. (London 17.11.2021).

Keg at BD Dalston - Hackney. Pours clear copper-gold with a small, creamy off-white head. Lightly sweet with pleasant toasted biscuits and grains, caramel accents, mild leafy bitterness. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with more assertive leafy and earthy hops, toasted grains, biscuits, burnt caramel. Well balanced overall.
