Keg at the London Brewers Market. Pours deep brown with a dense, creamy beige head. Sturdy ashy roast in the nose, dry cocoa. Light sweet flavour with lots of scorched earth, more ash, bitter chocolate, faint orange peel. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation and velvety texture. Finishes with more bittersweet baking cocoa, ashy roast, earthy bitterness. Not bad on the whole.

Pigs Ear. Cask. Almost clear gold beer, a few white bubbles for a head. Dry pale malts, sweetish. Ripe orange and a little fresh tangerine. Light dry finish. Not that lager like but I've had many worse cask lagers than this.

Cask at Pig’s Ear 2017. It pours clear yellow with no head to speak of.... The aroma is soft, sweet, grainy, lemony, floral and candied citrus. The taste is dry, bitter, oily, lemon – lime, floral, straw, grass, and some toasty grain. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not a whole lot to it. Fair enough for what it is.
