500ml bottle from Bier Huis. Sparkling, golden colour, white foamy head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of sulphur, apple. Taste is tart fleshy apple, some vinegary funk, and acidic drying citric notes. Light bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry finish with alittle tartness. Quite drinkable.

Light unclear medium orange yellow colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy apple, tart apples, sweet apples, wood, barnyard. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, sharp, tart, fruity, wood, apple, juicy, medium dry, vinegar notes. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat. Box @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Golden-blonde cider. Has apple in its nose and taste, all quite dry, with its whisky influence to the fore in its aftertaste, and it lingers.

330ml bottle from Bier Huis online. Hazy yellow golden colour, no head and nose of musty apple, straw, hint of sulphur. Taste is tart apple, solventy, with notes of white wine, some melon and lots of drying tannins. Light to medium bodied, low carbonation, very dry tannic finish. Quite OK.

Caak @ Three Pigeons, Halifax. Pale golden-yellow with a thin head. Very dry tasting but its apple is potent in its nose, and does linger well in its taste.

Bag in a box @ Rat & Ratchet, Huddersfield. Really wasn’t sure about this, being as i usually can’t stand a whisky influence in any drink but this really took me by surprise. Extremely well-blended with just enough whisky tang to warm the old cockles and a dry bittersweet finish to see you ordering another. Very nice indeed.
