On tap at the 2017 HAF. Pours a pale yellow golden hue. A big sweet floral honey nose. Toast, earthy, sweet honey base, some oranges. Light spices. Pretty nice. Quite light for the ABV.

Brassy colour. No head. Sweet, fruity, sort of missed on the malts here. Pretty weak tasting, actually.

Dark brown, rum butter nose, with lots of sweet chocolate. Man that rum butter character is so lush and delicious...love this. Lots of coconut, too. I have to say, they kind of got into the spirit of foreign stout, which is more than most American breweries that brew one but have zero understanding of the style. So conceptually it’s a chuckle, but fun, and executed well. I’d drink this a lot if I lived here.

Amber, bright. Grapefruit rind and stale pine hops on the nose. Alcohol, stale c hops. Malts are mostly pale, but fairly assertive and maybe there’s a touch of chewiness in there.

Hazy, dull amber. No head. Ok so lots of blueberries on the nose. Tart, phenolic base beer. Apparently they tried to bury this with blueberries. Not working out, and there’s a real whack of alcohol in the finish.

Salem breweries are competing for the least creative beer names, I see. Dark brown, roasty, toasty palate. Chocolatey, a balanced, straightforward no bullshit porter.

Has a nice sweet bourbon nose, of course the base beer isn’t hitting. Same on palate. A weak bourbon character over top of a weak base beer.

Deep gold, but a bit dull. No head. The malts aren’t expressing super well on the nose. Sweet, but gluey, touch of plastic. Unrefined, getting some malt liquorish fruitiness and acetaldehyde in the finish.
