Description
Lymm Brewing Co is a very small, family run micro brewery located in the village of Lymm.
Following the same philosophies as our sister brewery - Dunham Massey Brewing Company - we brew high quality traditional North Western style real ale.
The brewery itself is situated in the same building as our purpose built real ale bar, The Brewery Tap. You can find out more about both below.

Cask @ Brewery Tap, Lymm. Copper-amber with a creamy head. Medium session ale bitter, not huge on taste but probably not supposed to be.

Cask @ Brewery Tap, Lymm. Not impressed at the Manchester Beer Festival, but much better at the pubs on brewery tap. Blonde session ale with a small creamy head. Has a nice dry hop aroma and slightly dry in taste and very easy drinking.

Draft at Pigs Ear Beer Festival 2013 - London. Pours dark brown with a fine, tan cream top. So so stuff. Some burnt leaves, toasted bread, light bitter cocoa. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Earthy finish with semi-dry chocolate, dirt and leaves. OK.

Gravity dispense at Pigs Ear, 03/12/13. Mid black with a decent bubbly tan covering. Nose is big on roast malt, cardboard, earthy cocoa. Taste carries more depth with earthy cocoa, roast malt, dark toffee, light berry fruit tang. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry finale with light roast. Ok stout.

Pigs Ear. Opaque black - brown beer, a few tan bubbles trying and failing to be a head. Palate is light and low carbonation. Smooth light dark malts. Well buried dark tangy fruits. Whisper of apple. Finishes smooth. Just about makes the grade.

Gravity cask at the Wandsworth Common Halloween Beer Festival - Le Gothique, London. Pours lightly hazy yellow with a fine, white cream head. Nose holds some lageresque cereal, light biscuits, straw. Medium sweet flavor with further cereal, mild tangy lemon, white bread. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with low bitterness, some straw, dry cereal, lightly tangy citrus. Good.
