26/1/2023. BIAB at the 14th Colchester Winter Ale Festival. Pours clear bright golden with a minimally bubbly white head. Aroma of sugary apple, vanilla, light citrus, vague woody funky notes. Quite sweet with a tart edge. Medium body, smooth and oily, soft carbonation. Light dry and sweet finish.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Pale golden colour, short-lived fizzy white foam head and aroma of apple, citric hint. Taste is slightly tart, apple, some skin and core, with alittle acidity. Light bodied, light carbonation, medium-dry finish. Quite OK.

4/9/2019. From bag in a box at the 33rd Chappel Summer Beer Festival. Pours very slightly hazy gold with a bubbly white head. Aroma of funky ripe apples, light caramel, barnyard, cowshed, quite earthy, with light tannins. Moderate sweetness and light tartness. Medium body, oily texture, soft to flat carbonation. Sweeter finish developed, with some acidity.

On 23rd Jan 2020 I decided to change all my 34 'ticks' for no-beers into rates. Every 'tick' scored a '3', this will not change as they become 'rates'. My 'ticks' were Ciders, Meads, Perrys and Sake. This is a cider!

Gravity dispense (bag-in-box) @ GBBF 2016, [ Great British Beer Festival 2016 ], London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Hill Holme's Major's Cider - (4) ].ABV: 6.0%. Clear matt light to medium yellow colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy apple, yellow apples, tart apples, celery notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to light moderate acidic with a average duration, tart, apple, apples, thin, odd. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat. [20160809] 5-2-6-3-11

Gbbf. Leicht trübe hell goldgelbe Farbe. Geruch trocken fruchtig, leicht saure Äpfel. Geschmack säuerlich fruchtig, reife trockene Äpfel.

Sampled @ GBBF day 1. Hazy pale golden color, no head. Smell and taste apples, moderately sweet with a slight dry touch. Actually quite well balanced imo. I like it.
