Bottle shared at Herr Schmitt’s gaff. Clouded orange with a fleeting loose off white head. Aroma is nice big tropical fruits with pineapple and mango with a touch of veg. Flavour is big fruit salad, mango, chewy sweets. Some hop resin. Palate is somewhat chewy low carbonation. Tasty.

Bottle thanks to hazy golden with a small, foamy white head. The nose is soft, lemony, lemon cheesecake, soft fruits, dough and oatcakes. The taste is crisp, lemon peel, grapefruit, grass, light soap, straw, hay and decent bitterness with a dry, somewhat citric. Light-medium body and moderate carbonation. Crisp, we’ll-balanced and very drinkable. Very good session stuff.

Bottle shared at Garbage Night II - London. Picked up at the Camden Collective. Pours clear gold with a frothy, white head. Pleasant aroma with notes of dried lemon, biscuits, citrus rind and light grass. Light sweet flavor with nicely balancing bitterness of lemon rind and hay. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Clean and refreshing on the tail end with mellow grass, more lemon rind, slight grapefruit. Solid sessioner.

Bottle shared at Garbage Night II in London. Pours clearish gold with a frothy white head and lots of floaty bits. Maybe hops? Nice citrusy nose, some lemon, melon. Light-medium sweet flavor, good juicy citrus character, a bit of pale bread, light hay, further melon, orange. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly resinous to finish, further juicy citrus character, balancing pale malt sugars. Looks rough but tastes great. Very drinkable.

Bottle thanks to Leighton. It pours hazy golden with floaty chunks with a medium white head. The nose is orange squash, juicy tangerine, orange chewits, five alive, marmalade and faint herbal notes in the background. The taste is juicy, orange, tangerine, light spice, herbal, dough, metallic and decent bitterness with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Ain’t a looker, but pretty solid otherwise.

Jack is back tasting at Bruce’s. Thanks to Leighton. Opaque dark brown beer, small off white head. Palate is soft and light. Big milky sweet lactose. Licorice. Malt cream. Light piney hops bring very light bitterness. Semi dry finish. Way too much lactose, but drinkable.
