[ As Bowness Bay Swan Blonde ].Clear medium yellow colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, cookie, biscuit malt, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, biscuit malt, pale malt, sweet malt. On cask at Alexanders, Kendal. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - flowers, herbs, custard. Lemon. Taste - lemon and lime. Light biscuit. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - good example of the style.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 4/7/2017. Deep amber in colour, with a decent, white, head. Sweet malts, slightly sour red berries, trace of leafy hops and moderately bitter finish. Not a beer I would rush to drink again.

Cask (gravity) @ NBF 2015 [ The 40th. Nottingham Beer Festival (The 8th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival) ], Nottingham Castle, Friar Lane, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EB. [ As Bowness Bay Swan Black ].Clear dark red brown color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, dark malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, burnt, sweet malt, dark malt, roasted, light fruity hops, dry. Cask @ Calans, Hebden Bridge. Deep amber coloured. Dry hopped and fairly stated with this in its taste, including a light rawness to its hop. Thereโs a mild berry-sweetness in its nose.

Cask @ Calans, Hebden Bridge. Clear golden with a small head. Hoppy in the main and you can taste the rawness of its hop, which has a slight dryness to it, although itโs quite smooth textured.

Cask at GBBF day 3 11/08/2016. A clear golden yellow coloured pour with a a sticky white head. . Aroma is floral hop please grains. Flavour is composed of semi sweet pale grains, floral citrus, . Palate is semi sweet little diacetyl.
