Description
In a region renowned for delicious local produce and divine taste experiences, Bowness Bay Brewing have been producing a range of hand-crafted traditionally made beers using the famous Lake District water to create the freshest, cleanest beers around.

First brewed March 2012 initially based in Winster, Windermere. The brewery moved to its site in Kendal in Summer 2016, since then expanding several times.

Appearance: Cloudy deep gold with a decent white head. Aroma: Floral hop, honey, herbs, distant lemon & earth. Taste: Light sweet, medium bitter. otherwise as described above. Mouth feel: Medium body, average carbonation. Summary: OK. Should be reclassified to IPA - English.

Cask @ Steamer, Fleetwood. Golden with a small creamy head. Hoppy session ale. Easy and tasty enough.

Large foamy white head left a froth on an unclear pale golden coloured body. Minimal biscuit & citrus aroma. Medium bodied, soft foamy & cloying. Pale malt, grain, biscuit & citrus tastes. Standard - At best.

Foamy beige head left a spotty cover on a dark brown still body. Liquorice, malt & toffee aroma. Medium bodied, soft & smooth with a cloying back. Malt, sweet, berry, sarsaparilla & toffee tastes with a lightly hopped tangy citrus finish. Nicely balanced.

Bottle from BeerGB. Appearance - hazy yellow with a foamy white head. Nose - caramel and orange barley water. Taste - orange barley water and more caramel. Palate - a bit sweet and then roast. A little astringent. Overall - so so.

Bottle thanks to Ashton McCobb. Pours clear golden with a thick white head. Aromas of biscuit and orange barley water. Taste has faint caramel, biscuit, faint citrus. Light sweet finish.

Large foamy white head left a froth on a chill hazy golden coloured body. Dank hops, citrus & light malt aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a sharp clean back. Pale malt, citrus, pine, tropical fruit & confectionery tastes with tangy finish. Nice.

Bottle from Beer GB. Pours clear golden orange with a thin white head. Aromas of peach and caramel. Taste is light floral, grassy and more peach. Light sweet finish.

Bottle at the old's. Pours clear yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of light lemon and biscuit. Taste is more of the same. Light bitter lemon finish.

Cask @ Peaky Blinders, Southport. Hazy copper-amber with a creamy-frothy head. Stewed fruitiness in both aroma and taste, probably on the turn given I was told it was the end of the barrel.
