Bottle from Booths Supermarket, Keswick. Blonde with a small head. Clean, clear, hoppy and pleasant, and crucially not feeling the low strength brew it is.

Near-opaque but clear dark red-brown beer, thick head. Light aroma of malty chocolate. Flavour has sweet, toasty malt, chocolate, a little dried fruit, maybe a little grassy hop too but just a dash. Decent body to it. Nothing remarkable but extremely sessionable.

Gravicask, second day at The 14th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival 2022, Marquee Bar A. Shared with Finn. Almost clear amber body, patches on the surface, filmy layer. Moderate smell of leafy hops and mid-sweet malts. Mild caramel flavours joined by leafy hops. Smooth bittersweet endnotes. Short, but alright. (Nottingham 13.10.2022).
