Bottle from Tebay Services northbound. Poured clear deep brown with beige foam. Aroma: toasty malts, chocolate, liquorice, dark fruits. Moderate sweet & bitter. Medium body.

Foamy white head stayed on an unclear amber coloured body.
Fruity citrus aroma.
Medium bodied, foamy & cloying.
Boiled sweets, chalky & tangerine tastes with a malt backbone & bitter pithy finish.

Half pint from the cask at Unsworth Yard, Cartmel. Pours clear pale golden with a white head. Aromas & tastes of citrus, hints of fruit, cereal & light malt. Moderate body. Slightly dry light bitter finish. Enjoyable

Keg at The Round, Keswick. Lightly hazed gold with a fluffy white head. Floral with lemon notes. Custard creams come through in the finish. Sweetish but quite pleasant.

Bottle thanks to cgarvieuk. Pours clear pale yellow with a thin white head. Aromas of faint grain and orange. Taste is metallic. Thin finish.
