On cask at Alexander ’ s. Appearance - golden with a slight haze and a nice head. Nose - a bit elusive. But a touch of citrus and hop resin. Taste - slight orange and vegetal note. Palate - light to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - a slightly duller blonde than I’m used to.

1 litre bottle @ the Sixth Shrewsbury Bottle Share, June 14, courtesy of Luc. Quite a lively one, with a large bubbly head. Pours murky, muddy brown with a similarly muddy taste. Some raw hops with floral herbal notes and a little dandelion, orange and lake water. Not great.

Cask at the Le Gothique’s Halloween Beer Festival 2013. Poured a dark ruby colour with a scummy beige head. Aroma was Oxo-like with roasted malt and grass. Dark fruit flavours with some straw and an odd hint of salt beef. Finish was prunes, molasses and resin.
