Bottle from Oddbins. Dark brown body with amber highlights. Thin beige head. Light lacing. Aroma of coffee, roasted malt, pine, plum and burnt toast. Flavour has more burnt, bitter qualities with a hoppy linger. Thin body with a watery texture. Soft fizz. Very astringent and dry - I like it.

Bottle from Oddbins. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Nice lacing. Aroma of floral, orangey hops. Flavour of orange, apricot and dry lemon (Simcoe and Galaxy, maybe?) Thin body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. A tasty beer, soft and floral.

Bottle from Oddbins, well duh! Appearance - opaque black with a nice fluffy head. Nose - dried peel, cake, some chocolate. Lemon curd in parts. Taste - does not live up to the nose. Most of the above aromas come across as dried at less interesting. There’s still citrus and cake notes, but they’re very astringent. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and then it falls into a long dry finish which is too dry for my palate. Overall - interesting nose, but the taste for me, was nowhere near the standard of most Alechemy beers.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - pale golden but very murky, thin head. Nose - banana and sweet maltiness. Taste - not much banana here, more like oranges and biscuits with an earthiness in there too. Palate - light to medium bodied with a big crunchy texture and long lasting bitter finish. Overall - it grew on me!

Bottle from Oddbins Tunbridge Wells. Brown malty aroma. Not much hop on the aroma. Some bitterness on the finish of a nettle bitter leaf variety. But not unpleasant. As a pale ale bitter cross over it’s decent. Definitely bitter on the finish. Ok. I like the malt hop interplay and the bitter finish.
