A family business founded in 2012 and managed by George, Anne and James (Head brewer).

Based at Peel Industrial Estate near the centre of Bury, Lancashire.

The brewery’s name is taken from the Deeply Vale area near Bury. Located in the wilds of Lancashire, it was once a rural village with thriving mills up to the early 1950’s. The area has close associations with Anne, whose parents and grandparents lived and worked in Deeply Vale.

Cask @ Calans, Hebden Bridge. Black with a small off-white creamy head. Has an ever so slightly burnt roasted malt. There’s a sweetness to it too.

Forever Bury Beer Festival 2016. Amber coloured with some sediment. Has a pleasant fruity, sugary-sweet aroma and taste.

Fox & Goose Spring Beer Festival 2016. Clear golden coloured ale. Has a malty-hoppy character with a light easy-drinking texture and taste.

Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Blonde with a thin head. Easy-drinking ale with a very light citrus fruitiness.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2015, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Deeply Vale Citra Storm ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a small, open and fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate hoppy, flowers, citrus, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, citrus, fruity, hop bitter, malt sweet. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20150812]
