A family business founded in 2012 and managed by George, Anne and James (Head brewer).

Based at Peel Industrial Estate near the centre of Bury, Lancashire.

The brewery’s name is taken from the Deeply Vale area near Bury. Located in the wilds of Lancashire, it was once a rural village with thriving mills up to the early 1950’s. The area has close associations with Anne, whose parents and grandparents lived and worked in Deeply Vale.

Cask @ Cask, Manchester. Blonde with a small creamy head. Has a very crisp and mainly hoppy character with some malts involved all within a fairly smooth drinking texture.

Fox & Goose Beer Festival, Hebden Bridge. Straw-blonde with plenty of hops and a washy floral taste.

Cask @ The Works, Sowerby Bridge. Golden-blond with a smooth head. Has tasty dry hops with lemon and grapefruit providing both the light aroma and taste.

Cask at the Grapes, Liverpool. Dark mahogany brown. Slightly translucent. Medium creamy khaki head. Heavy lacing. Malty and chocolatey aroma with forest fruit. Mostly sweet but bitter kicks in. Cherry cola and Black Forest gateau. Creamy mouthfeel. Long satisfying sweet finish. A pleasant surprise this one.

Cask @ Oldham Beer Festival. Deeper amber with a thin head. It has some caramel and some fruits in its taste with the latter prevalent in its nose which has a high sweetness.

Cask (handpump) @ Market Porter, 9 Stoney Street, Southwark, London, Greater London, England SE1 9AA.Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, earthy malt, fruity malt. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, fruity, caramel, earthy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130327]
