Pours a dark amber color, topped with a small just slightly cream colored head that disapears very quickly. There is a very pleasant mild fruity aroma, some citruses and caramel. The taste is slightly hoppy, creamy with some caramel in the finish. A small amount of bitterness left in the aftertaste. Easily drinkable, smooth and enjoyable.

12 ounce bottle. Amber orange with a fluffy beige head. Fruity malt aroma with a hint of resiny pine hops. Smooth toasted malt flavor is balanced by spicy peppery hops. Some tropical fruit in mid taste. Dry bitter finish. A decent IPA, but just average.

Leighton 10K tasting at Bruce’s pad. Thanks to Rocket for this rarity. Light haze on this gold beer. Small pale cream coloured head. Palate is airy and dry. Mild fine carbonation. Mild dry malty sweetness. Marmalade and floral things, both mildly bitter. Dry finish. Not too bad. Started rough but grew a little.

Bottle at Black (IPA) Friday tasting, thanks to Nisse666 for this extra - cheers Thomas, 09/05/14. Very lightly hazed golden orange with a moderate off white swirl atop the glass. Nose is caramel, floral notes, bitter orange, spice, a little buttery. Taste comprises light caramel, straw, floral hop notes, perfumed, orange. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with light hop bitterness. So so affair, not a lot going on here, still definately the best beer I’ve rated from the Virgin Islands though (well Shipyard!).

Bottle shared in London - big thanks to Colin for this obscurity. Pours clear, light gold with a fine, creamy white head. Pretty mediocre stuff, lots of herbal hops, old pine, dry pale bread, some tangerine. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. More dusty pine on the finish, light sweetness, herbs, some citrus pith. Meh, shabby.

Bottle thanks to Colin, it pours clear amber with a medium yellow head. The nose is sweetish, orange peel, marmalade and candy. The taste is bitter, toasty, orange peel, dirt, grapefruit, lemonade, wood, dirt and light alcohol with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Mediocre at best,
