Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of Pinball. Pours a cloudy opaque deep amber with a small, off-white head. Heavy Bourbon aroma paired with chilies and caramel. Medium body only, sweet caramel only, subtle roast, lovely Bourbon notes and then a shitload of chili bite. A very, very strange mix. Not great, but not completely awful either. Doesn’t really feel 12% though. 210113

Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a huge yellowish head. The aroma has notes of eggs, lemons, straw, cedarwood, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of cedarwood, straw, and lemons, leading to a dry finish. Thanks pinball for sharing.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of Pinball. Pours a cloudy golden with an off-white head leaving a discreet lacework. Very interesting aroma - very far from other cedar beers I’ve tried, a little bubblegum too. Light body, heavy carbonation, an odd spiciness, dryish fruity, coconut and bubblegum. Subdued bitterness. Very different. 140113

On tap at Breakside, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma of passionfruit galore, with mild tartness and low citric acidity compared to many Berliners. Flavour is dominated by the passionfruit, which again overtakes the berliner's traditional qualities, subduing the tartness. Full-flavoured and immensely drinkable. One of the of the style I've had.

On tap at Breakside, pours a cloudy amber with a medium beige head. Aroma of dry citrus hops and caramel malt - quite a robust aroma that is deep and complex. Flavour brings out similar notes, with dry hops and caramel malts equally potent upfront, transitioning to quite powerful honey notes that linger on and on. Somehow it doesn't become cloying at any stage, though the honey is dominant at the end. An interesting hybrid of styles with unusual elements. Great stuff.

On tap at Breakside, pours black with a fairly large brown head. Aroma of pumpkin spices, mild subdued coconut and light roasted qualities. Flavour of pumpkin spices, roasted malt, chocolate, and some coconut flakes further back that become more and more pronounced the more you drink. Full-bodied, with a fantastic balance of all the elements. I took a chance with this beer, thinking it could be a massive failure or a pleasant surprise - gladly, it was the latter.
