Two 330ml cans, batch 350, bought at Vinmonopolet Hamar. Shared with Leif and Dag Erik. Patchy surface, dotted spots on the glass, unclear reddish-brown body. Promising mid-sweet aromas of dried fruits and bread-like malts. Rather similar taste character of bread, caramel and dried fruits. Lingering malt-fruity finish. Decent nightcap. (Hamar 27.02.2020).

Tåkete gul med hvitt skum. Lukter appelsinskall, aprikos og laktose. Middels fylde. Veldig bitter. Barnål og sitrusskall, noe laktose kommer igjennom. Lang.

Can. The colour is dark brown to black with a small beige head. Aroma of chocolate truffles, coffee, nougat and licorice. The flavour is similar with the addition of soy sauce and ash. Has a silky mouth feel, medium body and a medium level bitterness. Roasted and nice.

Can. Dark brown body with a small off-white head. Nice aroma of dark malt, coffee, chocolate and yeast. Taste is sweet, smooth dark malt, dry fruit, coffee and caramel. Nice body and same aftertaste as the rest. Decent, but ends a bit sweet, some more bitterness might do the trick with this one but I guess that’s not the point with all Norwegian made stout. Decent but I miss a bit depth in flavors.

Can at a tasting. Quite simple, but good. Hops centered, mostly bitter, citrusy zesty resiny hops character. Good one, easy drinking. Med-thin body, med-high carbo. Good.

Can from Cunningham, thanks. Hoppy aroma and taste, malty notes, citrus fruit, light to medium bitter. Medium body, hoppy bitter finish. Ok.
