Appearance: Opaque deep brown to black with a good beige head of high retention. Aroma: Roasted barley, coffee, toast, esters, cookies, citrusy hop, vinous notes. Taste: Moderately sweet, Medium plus bitterness. Highly roasted, coffee, dark chocolate, prune esters, massive New World hop, vinous notes. Long ending hop bitterness. Mouth feel: Medium plus body, appropriate carbonation. Summary: Good. Rewort is getting better with strong dark beers.

I really like this one. It’s a beer cocktail—spicy ojo rojo/Bloody Mary rather than a beer per we, but very well balanced. Heat, ginger, umami, hops.
