Description
Brightwater Brewery was founded by Alex and Sue in August 2012. After months of planning the brewery was installed, we started brewing and delivered our first firkins in February 2013. Our aim is simple we produce high quality real ale that can be enjoyed by all who taste our beers.

Cask gravity at the Wandsworth beer fest preview night 26/03/14. Golden straw colour with a persistent loose white head. Aroma is nice floral lemon, straw and light grassy. Flavour is dry lemon and berry, some dirty grassy bitterness from the hops. Light dry and refreshing palate. Some lingering fruits. Decent.

Cask (gravity) @ EBF14 2013, 14th Egham Beer Festival, Egham United Services Club (EUSC), 111 Spring Rise, Egham, Surrey, England TW20 9PE.Clear medium amber - red orange color with a average, open and frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, vomit - UK yeast, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, caramel, light fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130328]

Cask at EBF XVI, 07/11/13. Clear golden with a moderate off white head. Nose is citric fruit lead, bitter orange, grass, bread dough. Taste comprises orange pith, bread dough, lemon sherbet, grass. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry finish with light bitter ntoes. Ok stuff.

Gravity dispense at EBF XV, 09/08/13. Clear golden with no head. Nose is citrus, floarl notes, peach, orange, light perfume. Taste comprises bitter orange, light hops, grass, peach. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry finish with a little bitterness. Solid enough GB.

From cask at EBF15. Pours cloudy orange to brown with a small off white head. Aroma is toasted malty and light breadish. Bitter, toffee malty and light breadish. Bitter and toasted finish.

From cask at EBF15. Pours clear and golden yellow with a fully gone head. Aroma is grapefruity and light peachy. Bitter and crisp hoppy finish.

Gravity cask at the Wandsworth Common London Beer Festival July 2013 - Le Gothique. Pours clear, deep gold with a modest, foamy white head. The aroma has lightly toasted pale malts and suggestions of citrusy hops. Light sweet flavor, pale bread, orange. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Tasty. Good balance. Orange and other citrus fruits in the finish, a bit more bready sweetness. Nice.

Gravity cask at the Wandsworth Common London Beer Festival July 2013 - Le Gothique. Pours clear, amber-gold with a frothy white head. Some toasty malts in there, lightly tangy ripe citrus, earth. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly toasted bready malts to finish, dirt, further ripe orange. Fine.
