Bottle shared at The Kernel, London - big thanks to Tommy the Terror for this Chelmsford white whale. Pours clear brown with a bubbly tan head. Tasty stout, plenty of dry cocoa action, some toasty bread. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Dry toasted bread finish with light earthy bitterness and dusty chocolate. Fair play.

Bottle thanks to Tommy M! It pours deep brown with a small light tan head. The nose is smooth roast, toast, cocoa and coffee grinds. The taste is toasty, earth, roasted malt, coffee, mild acidity and some citrus peel. Medium body and fine carbonation. Smooth and rather tasty.

Bottle, thanks to Tommy M. It pours near black with a medium light tan head. The nose is roasted malt, toast, coffee, grinds, chocolate and mild acidity. The taste is roasty, earth, toast, smooth bitterness and coffee with a dry finish. Medium body and fine. Straight-forward and drinkable stout.

Chelmsford Beer Festival. Hazy dark amber beer. Small bubbly white head. Light toffee streaked malt, dry. Good dried fruits - juicy. Light floral vibe. Bitter dry finish. Pretty bitter and I would have blind tasted this as an ESB more than an IPA.

Chelmsford Beer Festival. Opaque black - brown beer, little pale tan head. Palate is light and dry. The malt is fairly dry with a touch of roast and coffee. Just a little hop. Dry finish. It comes over more like a light dry porter than a black IPA/

Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival in KEGS! Light haze on this gold beer, suddy white head. Palate is light and dry. Dry and slightly bitter floral note over decent bitterish citric hops. Trace of marmalade. Mild minerals. Dry finish with a little sweet citrus. A bit dry bit okay.
