Keg at London Beer Lab, 04/08/17. Pitch black with a solid tan cap that retains well. Nose is rich roast, light spice, charr, dark chocolate, molasses. Taste comprises chocolate biscuit, toffee, roasted malts, light spice, dried fruit tang. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent porter.

Sampled @ 27th Egham Beer Festival 2017. Almost clear orange brown beer with a mid-sized most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of dark medium sweet malt, caramel, mild bitter hops. Taste of sweet malt, chocolate, caramel, mild bitter hopfig, interesting.

Sampled @ 27th Egham Beer Festival 2017. A slightly hazy pale golden beer with a mid-sized most good lasting white head. Aroma of dry hops, low bitterness, pale malt. Taste of grainy malt, hints of apples, floral hops.

Sampled @ 27th Egham Beer Festival 2017. A almost clear bright amber beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of cinnamon, red malt, yeast, brett. Taste of sweet red malt, cinnamon, spices, ginger, interesting.

Keg at Brewers Market. It pours hazy yellow - gold with a small white head. The aroma is toasty grain, white bread, underlying sweetness and a bit of stone fruit. The taste is crisp, dry, bitter - sweet, zesty citrus, brioche, light tang, stone fruit and bread with a dry finish. Medium body and average carbonation. OK.

Keg at Ldn Brewers Market. It pours jet black with a small tan head. The aroma is toasty, ashy, earth, meaty, light smoke and charcoal. The taste is dry, toasty, earthy roast, charcoal, burnt wood, peppery and cacao with a drying finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Okay.

Keg at the London Brewers market. A hazed very pale yellow, straw coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is light grains, chalky, soft citrus hop, faint grass. Flavour is composed of light grains, chalky mineral, flint, dried lemon rind,. Palate is light and refreshing, highish spritzy carbonation. Decent.

Keg at the London Brewers market. A jet black coloured pour with a lasting sticky tan head. Aroma is dark choc, bitter choc, creamy, custard. Jammy fruits. Flavour is composed of bitter dark choc, blackberry, woody woodland berries, plastic. Palate is frorhy carbonation, creamy, little tart in the finish. Lot going on.

Leighton’s flat clearance. Thanks to Leighton. Almost clear gold beer, thin cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry. Modest fine carbonation. Soft sweetish malts. Floral mid that brings a light medicinal vibe. Modest citric peel. Light finish. Okay.

Bottle shared at Leightons gaff , 19/09/2016. Many thanks. A light hazed orange golden coloured pour with a a thin white head. Aroma is grassy hop, plastic, cola cubes, dry thin grains. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, grassy citrus, lemon, nutty malts toast. Smoke. Palate is semi sweet, lowish carbonation. Firm grassy bitterness.
