Cask at the gin winter ale festival. Aroma is farty manure with berry hop. Hazed dark red with a fleeting off white head. Flavour is sulphurous eggy, with berry tart hedgrow hops. Finish is slightly tart acidic apple. I really did not enjoy this.

Cask handpull at Tap East Stratford. Golden slightly hazy lasting white head. Yeast and citrus hop aroma and slightly ascetic too hoppy spritzy mouthfeel but there is some rubber flavour that isn’t good. Ok mouthfeel but the rubber detracts from it.

Had this at St Aldates Tavern, Oxford, Saturday 12th October 2013 Pours amber, slight haze. There is a filmy white head. Tasty low abv bitter, hoppy with bitterness that lingers and a dryness at end. Possibly a little thin but that is to be expected. A6 A3 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

Gravity Dispense at EBF XV, 09/08/13. Murky dark orange/amber with little in the way of a head. Nose is grapefruit, bitter orange, bready malts, light pine, hop notes. Taste comprises candied sugars, orange pith, earthy hops, citrus notes. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry finish. Ok offering but not one I’d return to in this style.
