Cask, gravity dispense at Merton Summer Beer Festival July 18th and 19th 2008 A strange beer that fell into that marmite catergory unfortunately most people were in the don’t like camp. Poured light amber with small white head. Initially I get some toffee and when you think its going to lead onto a nice bitter beer with some nice toffee sweetness, bit malty but quite tasty, well it doesn’t (not for me anyway!) its just slides after the toffee, its got that amateur homebrew quality about it nothing appears quite as it should, I didn’t get the medicinal flavour that Glen got but there was something unusual about this. I was surprised that some people really liked this, amazingly it even pulled in some votes for beer of the festival, but alas it wasn’t my thing.
