Bottle from the Green Shop in Berwick upon Tweed. Appearance - golden with steady carbonation and a decent head. Nose - light honey, lemon and barley. Taste - spice biscuit, lemon again. Palate - light bodied. Seems soft and round at first but then goes a touch astringent. Overall - ok but probably worth trying on cask instead I'd say.

Handpull cask at Broood, Leicester. Dark brown, slightly translucent with a small sandalwood head. Light liquorice aroma with touches of smoke. Tastes bittersweet and lightly hopped. Touches of pine in the aftertaste. Not particularly engaging but it certainly has its moments.

Gravity cask at Broood, Leicester. Slightly darker golden with almost no head. Light aroma of biscuit, orange peel, hay. Bittersweet taste which has a dogged citrus juice sweetness to the fore and and almost medicinal bitterness near the end of the sip to the finish. Mandarin and apricot notes in the aftertaste. Somewhat messy but this beer has a fair bit going for it.

500ml bottle from Green Store, Berwick upon Tweed - Hazy amber body, fluffy white top. Nose is subdued, a bit of biscuit, a bit of citrus. Taste does have a kick - bit of a tropical citrus punch, bittersweet on the way out. Decent offering.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - amber with a creamy head. Nose - malt bag and toast. Taste - burnt and orangey. Red fruits perhaps. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a finish that is just too astringent. Overall - solid if unexciting.
