Description
We are Boutilliers, a small brewery based around the back of a farm shop in Faversham (Macknade fine foods if you were the curious sort.) Originally founded by 2 former uni buds, Boutilliers is now run by Rich, a former english teacher, and Drew, professional loud mouth. Our core focus is to brew creative styles and innovate with the resources we have to hand. When possible we like to use produce from local companies including tea and hops but we’ve not limited ourselves to this philosophy. Beer is an infinitely sprawling landscape with an equal number of potential possibilities, we don’t wish to simply make the same beer every time we brew, we want to explore, we want to play, we want our beer to be fun.

Light smooth palate, semi dry, pretty modest carbonation. The slightly viscous malts bring a creamy caramel sweetness. Obvious vanilla and that weird Tonka pseudo chocolate. A little ripe citrus. Light semi dry finish. Nice idea, does it fully work? No but it's reasonably interesting.

On tap at Made Inn Ashford. Hazy gold lasting white head. Some tropial fruit salad flavour. I mean it's not a bit like a Koln kolsch. As a pale ale it has some fruit salad child chew flavour light bitter finish. Odd. But fine.
