Description
We are Boutilliers, a small brewery based around the back of a farm shop in Faversham (Macknade fine foods if you were the curious sort.) Originally founded by 2 former uni buds, Boutilliers is now run by Rich, a former english teacher, and Drew, professional loud mouth. Our core focus is to brew creative styles and innovate with the resources we have to hand. When possible we like to use produce from local companies including tea and hops but we’ve not limited ourselves to this philosophy. Beer is an infinitely sprawling landscape with an equal number of potential possibilities, we don’t wish to simply make the same beer every time we brew, we want to explore, we want to play, we want our beer to be fun.
Closure announced on December 13th 2022.

Bottle picked up from Hoptimism Webshop, Loughborough, Leicestershire and consumed at Camping Mossandlweiher sat outside Frank after a 78km cycle ride to Schlossbräu Mariakirchen and back, mostly along an old disused railway line, Saturday 18th July 2020. This pours very dark brown almost black with a nice cappuccino coloured head. Aroma is berries and chocolate, taste also highlights the chocolate and raspberry combination, but with a lovely tartness. This is really nice, some roasty overtones, great beer.

Bottle picked up from Hoptimism Webshop, Loughborough, Leicestershire watching Dark (S3 E1) on Netflix, watched in German with German subtitles and again in English with German subtitles. Had this Friday 2nd July 2020 following a pizza in the village and an almighty, torrential, lengthy downpour (it was exciting). This is a simply wonderful Mild and showcases a style that's often overlooked. Pours very dark brown with a light beige head. Lovely smoothness, sone caramel and coffee jostling for a piece of the action, very moreish, simple but well executed mild.
