Schönes Steinfläschchen, optisch schwarz, in der Nase aromatisch, Malz, Rosinen. Im Trunk ausgesprochen würzig, malzig, überreife Trauben, sehr lecker und gefährlich gut trinkbar.

0.33 l can from 'AH' (Den Bosch), best before May 2024. Clear, golden with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly musty aroma of grains, straw and some cabbage. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter taste of grains, straw, some cabbage and light iron, followed by a short, gently bitter finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Cheap, crappy lager, fairly bad.

Pours Dark brown. Scent is very intense, caramel, sugary as fuck, stale coffee. Taste is very sweet, thin, oxidative notes are taking over at this point. Chocolaty. Thin body, nearly no carbo. Pretty straight forward, not much complexity at all. Not a big fan, even though I do enjoy aged quads normally.

300ml bottle. Clear, chestnut colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Slightly nutty, dark malty aroma, hints of malt lozenge, some praline. Taste is sweet-ish dark malty, minimally nutty, notes of malt lozenge, a touch of rock sugar, praline. Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Fairly malty and balanced - not bad.

hazy yellow colour, huge, dense and long lasting white head; aroma of dried banana, clove, bready and slight citrusy notes; taste is the same with more intensive citric sourness; rather like a German weizen than a witbier, otherwise fine
