Keg at the Bow Bar. Pours black with a thin beige head. Aromas of strong coffee, hints of chocolate. Taste is more coffee, rich, and not dissimilar to a cold Turkish coffee to be fair. Does what it says on the tin.

Leeds Beer Festival 2016. Deep amber in colour, with a small glow. It has a light fruity character and a few hops, which combine to hide its strength.

Cask @ Brewfactory Bar, Bradford. Darker amber coloured with a small creamy head. Its strength is very evident, but there’s still a strong fruitiness to be found in this ale.

Cask @ Brewfactory Bar, Bradford. Golden-yellow with a small creamy head. Has a fair weiss texture, with a berry-sweetness in both aroma and taste. Arguably more like a styled ale than a true weiss though.

Cask @ Brewfactory Bar, Bradford. Hazed brown in colour. Has a notable strength, but its tropical fruitiness is potent and flavoursome.

Bottle split at CCii, thanks to S Hane, 05/03/16. Light black with a moderate tan covering. Nose is spice, chocolate, dark malts, rather basic. Taste comprises toffee fudge, quite a spicy kick, trace of coffee, sweet malt. Medium + bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so for style, disjointed and a little harsh at times.

Bottle. Bier Huis, Ossett. Dark bronze. Light haze. Messy, off white head. Nose has light, toasted malts. Milk chocolate. Some dark fruit. Nicely nutty. Taste is soft sweet. Very light dry, and bitter. Smooth mouthfeel. Soft carbonation to match. Short, nutty dry finish. Very mild like, for me. Good stuff.
