About
Our biggest mission when we set up BrewDog was to make other people as passionate about great craft beer as we are. And that is still our biggest mission today.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of whiskey as well as light notes of smoke. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of whiskey and vanilla, leading to a dry woody finish. The alcohol burns on the tongue.

cask Aberdeen Beer festival 07 ... Golden orange ... light whiskey nose ... The same sharp tart grapefruit as Punk IPA but i found the tones of clearly identifable whiskey clashed rather than complemented. Still its nice to see the Brewers continuing there experimentation.

Bottled. A dark amber beer with a disappearing tan head. The aroma is sweet with very strong notes of peat smoke - lovely!!! The flavor is sweet and very roasted combined with a strong smoke note - a lovely peaty smoke note that is.

Thin dark beige head. Deep dark red barely translucent body. Earthy chocolatey smoky whisky aroma. Deep smoky chocolate taste. Dry smoky whisky aftertaste. Very rounded, despite the sharpish whisky kick. Excellent, with some rough edges. (0.5l bottle at Knut Albert’s.)

Black colour with no head, only a couple of bubbles. Strong roasted malt - nearly burnt & wood aroma. Bitter coffee, quite a lot of smoke, vanilla & dark dried fruits. Low carbonation. Palate is soft & silky - little to thin for my taste though! Alcohol warmth. Long bitter roast end. Nice!

Old version bottled. Slightly cloudy golden with a lasting white head. The unique aroma is nothing like IIPAs I know of. Peach, tea, grass, herb (sage?) apricot, orange, grain/pilsner malt. Flavour is rather sweet, dominated by grass, peach and grain, with a very bitter finish. Interesting, but far from perfect. In the end, it feels like a more bitter and stronger version of that awful English invention, the golden ale. 7-3-6-3-12

Cask at You’ll Never Walk Alone in Kolding. Hazy amber with a creamy white head. Hoppy aroma dominated by grapefruit and pine. The flavour has some biscuit and malt with lots of citrus and pine hops. Wonderful velvet mouthfeel. 7-4-7-4-14
