About
Oldskool likes to brew beers in a new format. A focus on old beertypes with pure love for the classic & modern hops. This combination will create balanced beers that ought to be enjoyed slowly. At first the focus will be on old beertypes with a love for the German and British hops. The main goal of Oldskool is to educate beerlovers, breweries, pub owners and liquor shop owners with the message that it is possible to brew great quality beer with the right people and the right ingredients. For regular consumers we like to point out there is a lot more out there than a regular Duvel or an artificially sweetened Bockbeer.

Hence all OLDSKOOL beers are brewed: According to the Bayerisch Reinheitsgebot, without any additional sugars/ spices / acid; At a selected Dutch location; Brewed by a different expert every time; With the recipe, enthusiasm and beerlove from one of the youngest International Beersommeliers in the world, Dennis Kort.

[ As Oldskool 77 / - ].Light unclear medium orange colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, caramel, grass - dusty grass. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, pale malt, yeast, dusty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20170819] 5-3-5-3-11

Cloudy pale amber colour, good frothy off-white head, dissipates slowly, light lacing. Aroma pale malts, orange, tangerine, light caramel, green herbs. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malts, grains, fruity, green herbs. Sweetbitter aftertaste, fruity, bit husky, light herbal notes. Medium body, watery to oily average carbonation, not a bad beer but why they call this a scottish ale is an enigma.

Sampled @ 10th Danish Ratebeer Gathering, Ulfborg, Day 2. A bit hazy darker orange color, average sized white to off-white head. Aroma is malts, sweetish, a bit grainy underneath. Taste malts, grains, a bit sweet, a hint of green leaves, slightly a hint of caramel, a bit hayish. Decent body and carbonation.

7 3 7 3 15 Bottle shared at Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering ’17. Very hazy golden orange with a cream coloured head. Aroma of herb, grass, citrus, light malt and green weeds. Flavour is light moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle, 5%, Unclear amber /brown with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, dark fruit, yeast, notes of berries and dusty. Flavour is malt, caramel, dark fruit, yeast, medium sweet, notes of berries and a little bitter.

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small off white head. Aroma is fruity, phenolic and toasted malt. Oine and teaish hoppy. Bitter, dry and light citrusy. Herbal finish.
