28 September 2019. Bottle at Plaka, Chania, Crete. Shared with the lovely Anke! Pours hazy black with a lasting, small, frothy, beige head. Aroma has lots of toast, coffee roast, earth, fondant, tobacco. Taste is medium roasted bitter, offering pure toast, espresso, fondant; soft malty sweetness underneath with bread, vague nuts, edge of umami. Dry, earthy hoppy finish, very toasty, bordering on tobacco & dark coffee ground. Medium body, creamy texture, fizzy carbonation. Nice & rich roasted profile at only 5.8%.

Bottle. Amber color, yellowish foam. Aroma: nectar, fruity, a little citrus, candy, caramel. Taste: malty and hoppy, hay, fruity, citrus, medium bitterness, a little caramel, not bad.

Bottle. Black to dark brown color, unstable brownish foam. Aroma: coffee with cream, burnt barley, caramel, a little chocolate. Taste: roasted slightly sour coffee, a light creamy sweetness, a little watery, crust of pie, not bad overall.

1/7/2018. Bottle at Pantopolion Grocery Store, Athens. Pours orange amber with a creamy off-white head. Aroma of hops, yeast, citrus, malt, unripened banana, coriander, caramel and leaves. Medium plus sweetness and moderate bitterness with light tartness. Moderate body, oily texture, average carbonation. Fruity herbal finish. Well worked.

33cl Bottle from greekbeershop.gr. Deep amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of caramel, some butterscotch, hint of tea. Flavour is sweet, malty, caramel, light herbal bitterness. Light bodied. Decent Bitter, but not an IPA by a long shot.
