330ml can. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate, bourbon, whisky, rum, oak, vanilla. Taste is very rich and chocolatey, vanilla, oaky, various bourbon/whisky/rum notes coming through, warming booze. Full bodied, smooth.
Another very solid addition to the VBM series.

440ml can. Clear amber with a huge off-white head. Aroma of piney resin, grapefruit, malts. Taste is very piney and resinous up front, orange, grapefruit, marmalade and caramel malts, a little biscuity, assertive bitterness. Medium bodied. Solid kit.
Great pair of collabs, really enjoyed both of these.

Keg at Fierce Bar Abz. It pours clear deep amber with a thick, fluffy off - white head. The aroma is woody, nutty, cereal, leather, sappy, brown bread, oatcakes, chai latte and cacao nibs. The taste is dry, nip of bitterness, woody, earthy, tannin, resin, toasty spice, brown bread, oatcake, muted caramel, chai latte spice, cinnamon bark and malt loaf with a drying and bitter woody finale. Average body and average, slightly prickly carbonation. Has a good depth of flavour. Mayen not as drinkable as one would expect for the abv, but definitely interesting. Would be good to see a higher abv version (7 - 8%).

Keg at Fierce Aberdeen. It pours clear golden - amber wig a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, zippy, fragrant, lemony, touch of fairy liquid, toasty grains, biscuit, cereal and some nuttiness. The taste is crispy, dry, snappy, peppery spice, grassy, leafy, herbal, floral, soapy citrus, cereal and some nuttiness with a drying, lemon verbena finale. Medium body and fairly high, foamy carbonation. Decent lagerbier. Sits a touch heavier than expected, but still very enjoyable.

Cask at Archibald Simpsons, Aberdeen. It pours clear golden - blonde with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, fruity, zingy citrus, grapefruit in particular, pomelo, tangerine, lemon, biscuity malt, bread and some pine. The taste is firmly dry, restrained bitterness, biscuity malt base, pithy, zesty, grapefruit, slightly floral, pine needles, wood and a touch of peppery spice. Average body and moderate, fluffy cask carbonation. Rounded and moreish. My favourite edition of this to date, think fierce are improving their cask game day by day.

Can picked up at Lidl Aberdeen Bucksburn. It pours clear golden amber with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh pine, bitter - sweet, oily citrus, perfumed, orange peel, kumquat, touch of sherbet, caramel, resin and sap. The taste is dry, mellow bitterness, butter - sweet character, sappy, resin, prickly pine, grassy, florals, orange marmalade and toffee with a drying, slightly zesty finish. Average body and moderate carbonation. Solid, easy going stuff. Would like a bit more kapow to it.

Can from Fierce. It pours murky dirty blonde with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is bright, fresh, super green, weedy, dank, ripe tropical farts, papaya, pineapple, peach, papaya, summer berries, zingy, zesty, touch of spice and lemon - lime. The taste is initially it's dangerously smooth, dries out a bit, green, weedy, dank, herbal, some spice, then it is all about the fruit, ripe & tropical, papaya, mango, lychee, watermelon, lime, floury bread and a slap of booze with a drying um bungo finale. Medium body and moderate fluffy carbonation. Bright, tropical and super fresh..

Can from Asda, Wycombe. Hazy gold with a white head. A prickly carbonation is a little detrimental to the lovely soft pillowy body, but despite that the body is decent. Nice smell of pineapple up front carries on into the flavour, with peaches, cream, white bread and a touch of lime also coming through. Decent, but the bitterness was a tad too heavy for the flavours in my mind.
