Description
King's Cliffe Brewery is a five barrel microbrewery producing 1,400 delicious pints with every brew. After casking, the beer is naturally conditioned for at least two weeks. Only then is the beer allowed to leave the brewery and be enjoyed.
We currently brew five permanent beers and the occasional seasonal beers, all of which are available in bottles, pins and firkins.

24/8/2018. Cask at the 41st Peterborough Beer Festival. Pours dark amber with a very small off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel and fruit. Medium sweetness, light to moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation.

Cask at the Peterborough beer Festival 2017.. An oily dark mahogany brown coloured pour with a fading tan head. Aroma is semi sweet, rich earthy malts, praline, hints of bounty bar coconut.. Flavour is composed of semi sweet coconut milky chocolate, earthy, desecrated coconut, nutty. Hazelnut. Palate is oily, grainy, moderate carbonation, flabby. Ok.

Cask at GBBF’17, day three, 10/08/17. Golden copper with a decent off white head. Nose is fruit loaf, spice, straw, mellow citric notes. Taste comprises grains, straw, lemon peel, malty bite, bread dough. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Average golden affair.

Cask at the Colchester Winter Ale Festival 2016. Poured amber brown with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt, fruit, chocolate, very light coffee and vanilla. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Medium body, touch on the watery side, soft carbonation. Finish is malty and roasted.
