Cask at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours deep gold, almost reddish, with medium-high whitish foam, fine. Aroma is partly caramel, partly a nice sweet citrus like mandarin and orange. Body is fairly flat and thin. Taste is only moderately bitter with decent sweetness behind. Finish is fairly long and bitterish.

Can at the stadsbrouwhuis. Pours basically black with some head. Aroma is creamy, loads of dark malts, roasted barley, some coffee. Medium body. Flavour is malty and sweet. Lot of dark malts, oats make it lovely smooth and creamy. Some coffee and complex dark malt notes. Finishes with coffee, bitter and malty sweet. Lovely!

4 week old pint can A: Poured a huge craggy tan head atop a hazy, not sludgy pale orange body. Great retention and thick lace. S: Tangerine, pineapple and faint caramel. T: Very bitter pithy taste. Mainly grapefruit pith and zest. Not very fruity or juicy and certainly not sweet. M: Light medium weight, average carbonation level and very sticky mouthfeel. O: Pretty good overall as long as you don't expect a juice bomb. One of the better Aviators I've had.

Can shared @ tasting. Dark brown color, average sized off-white to beige head that diminishes quickly. Aroma is quite nice: sweetish, caramelish, tiramisu, lactose, milk chocolate. Flavor is similar but the beer is quite thin and watery. Flavor is ok but thin. That said, knowing that this is a 5% ABV porter, it's quite nice. In the end, yeah, thin perhaps, but I like it.
