Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 7/4/2016. Golden in colour, with a decent, off-white, head. Aroma of citrus fruits and grassy hops, with a suggestion of cereal malt. Flavour was crisp, with more fruits, biscuity malts and a dryish finish. Good.

330ml bottle from Stori, Bala. Pours clear gold, thin white head. Aroma is light tropical fruit and pine. Taste is fruity marmalade, resin, some nail varnish, grapefruit with a sharp bitterness. Certainly hoppy but a little disjointed. Ok.

On tap at The Ship & Mitre Liverpool. Haze dark amber colour lasting white head. big pine hop aroma. But some toffee too. Bit harsh on the bitter hops on thd finish. It’s a fine line to dance. The difference between hop and resin and grapefruit and harsh bitter that goes a bit rubbery. Ok just.

Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival at KEGS. Cask. Clear gold beer, bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Clean pale malts, mild orange and marmalade, touch of grapefruit. Light finish. Programme said 7 hops varieties in this beer, the cynic in me can’t help but wonder if it was one hop per variety!
