Pint can thanks to mansquito! 5/19/21. Black, large brown head, good retention. Aroma of booze, oak, roast, vanilla, brownie batter. Taste is sweet malts, roast, vanilla, chocolate, oak. Medium-full bodied, booze pretty well integrated but still there. Comes across almost like a liqueur. Nice.

12 ounce can. Hazy yellow gold color. Large frothy white head. Major lacing. Aroma is obscured by the thick frothy cap. Hints of sweet citrus and melon. Bready malt backbone. Subtle sweet citrus flavor upfront. Hints of lemon, orange and passion fruit. Some warming alcohol in middle. Brief citrus finish hints at lemon peel.

Pours a mustard yellow with a huge fluffy white head. Aroma of orange, hop, must. Taste has citrusy hops, grapefruit, and relatively sweet malt. Palate has some resinous viney finish. Good.

Backlog. This brew has a citrusy hop aroma and flavor. There’s a lot of malty sweetness. They’re apparently not calling it a hazy ipa, but to me the sweet/bitter balance is near that level. The hops is fruity and moderately bitter. It’s medium bodied. Good but not great.

Backlog. Hazy pour with a very fruity aroma. Tropical and citrus fruit. The flavor is very low bitterness for an iipa. It’s pretty sweet even for a hazy iipa. Full bodied. Fruit and resin.

Backlog from 2019. Amber pour with a white head. It has a big citrus hop aroma. The flavor is full of citrus and resin hop bitterness and solid malt backbone with some sweetness. Some alcohol is also apparent. It’s intense and excellent.

On tap at the brewery. Pours black. Vanilla, strong bourbon, oak, roast, black pepper, really strong bourbon, liquorice, fig, prune, light bitterness. Oily body. Well balanced and well made, especially given the strength.
