Bottle (Beste Grüsse nach Lichterfelde!): Golden to deep golden, unclear, visible carbonation, big and stable beaten-egg-white-like head, moderate bitter-sweet aroma of bready pale malt and noble (Bohemian?) hops; moderate bitter-sweet flavour and really smooth, not too light bodied; soft and lingering pale malty and spicy hoppy finish. Überraschung! A great half-bohemian Pilsner from Friedrichshain! Very moreish…

Dense, huge, whipped eggwhite-like head over hazy, deep golden beer. Faint clove, more orangepeel, fruity esters. Sweetish-sourish smelling, betraying wheat. Faintly fruity taste. Orangejuice, the guaiacol arriving very late and only as a kind of wryness. Most absent is the habitual bananaflavour. Even the wheat is not strong in the flavour. Bit wheatslick, generally light bodied, medium carbonation. Not very convincing as a Weizen, as if the fusels and esters have been avoided as much as possible, in order not to shock too much. Thx to Joren for bringing!

Towering, dense, irregularily build yellowish head, slowly pitting in over very carbonated veiled metallic copper beer, leaving shards of lace. Bit insectoid nose, sharp at first; fruity aromas, citrus, but also diary, porridge-like hints. Quite hoppy flavour, intense but delicate, with bitterness arriving late, backthroat and in the head. Again fruity, citrussy hints, bit metallic. Underlying toasted malts with almost no restsweetness. Medium bodied, slick, creamy feel from the omnipresent head. Very spritzy carbonation. Really nice hopped lager, really pleasing! Txs to Joren for bringing!

Huge, dense, light-yellowish whipped cream head, stable and very lacey over copperish golden beer, finely carbonated. Strong, almost sharp "Herb" malt nose, spicy malts, peppery, old clothes, smokey, sulphur. Sharpish but not unpleasant. Grainy, malty, bit grassy flavour. Typical light bitterish, robust Northern German Pilsener. Quite sulphury, sharpish, almost sourish flavours. Slightly burning MF, good carbonation, gristslick, almost medium bodied. In its class, pretty good N. Ge. Pilsner, although the brewery calls it Vollbier only. Thanks to Joren for bringing!

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Beer in the glass amber coloured, small head. Fresh hoppy aroma. Starts mild-malty, more and more hoppy, dry, fine bitter background. Some hints of grapefruit, bitter lemon. Interesting.
