Brouwerij Eembier is op 18 mei 2006 opgericht. Sinds 2006 brouwt Eembier al haar bieren volgens het Reinheitsgebot. Krachtige hoppige bieren zónder toevoegingen zoals kruiden. Onze Eembieren krijgen alle tijd om rustig te rijpen in de lagertanks. En dat proef je terug in onze smaakvolle bieren!

Sinds mei 2018 heeft brouwerij Eembier haar eigen brouwlocatie,
gelegen naast de haven in het pittoreske vestingstadje Elburg. In 2023 trekt Stadsbrouwerij Vos in het pand, en is Eembier weer een brouwerijhuurder, bij Huttenkloas.

Bottle from Bierkoning. Slightly hazy amber, with slight carbonation and no head. Sweet, orange blossom aroma with some caramel. Flavour had more orange, some tropical fruit and candy sugar sweetness, leading to a dryish finish. Ok.

Glass from bottle at ABC Beers tasting. Pours murky golden with an off white head. Aroma is fruity, candy, some alcohol, spice. Flavour is medium sweet, light bitter with a warm alcohol finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle from ABC Beers. Pours hazy red with an off white head. Aroma do malt, fruit and hops. Flavour has same aspects with a little spice, medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied and soft carbonation.

1st March 2010
Hazy brown beer. Semi soft and semi dry palate. Light sour malt, a touch of unsweet chocolate and a whisper of marmite. Finishes dry with just a trace of fruit. Competent.

Post Borefts I Invasion of Fonefan and Charlottes room tasting! Hazy amber beer. Softish palate, mildly fruity and malty. A little subtle spice. Easy drinking. Original 3.3

3rd May 2010
Cloudy dark amber beer, frothy short lived off white head. Light dry palate. Nice caramel malt fairly well balanced with bittering stingy hops. Marmalade orange, faint raspberry and a little Nelson Sauvin like blackcurrant. Finishes soft and a little dry with more fruit. Solid beer, good stuff.

Bottle 330ml. @ [ Edinburgh Danish Invasion Tasting) by cgarvieuk - Edinburgh ].Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, light hoppy, citrus, light yeasty. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120422]

Hazy amber beer with a thick frothy white head. Sourish fruit and malt nose. Low carbonation. Light fairly neutral palate. Bitter tea flavoured malt and a strong floral sweetness. A little bittering grapefruit hop coming through at the end. A bit different - tasty!

Bottle 330ml. @ home.Clear medium to dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, light roasted, moderate to heavy hoppy, wood, flowers - rose, fruity - flowory hops. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dark malt, hoppy, wood, light chocolate, thin. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120319]

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, citrusy and mild grapefruity. Mild grassy, citrusy and crisp hoppy. Bitter and smooth citrusy. Crisp and fruity into a nice hoppy fruity finish. Dry and fruity finish.
