Draft @ Kafé Belgie, Utrecht. Dorée, col blanc. Arôme rappelant le savon à mains, note fruité citronnée. Palais reste en demi teinte au niveau du malt avec du fruité houblonné plus en avant, agrumes le tout donnant un léger picotement en fin de bouche légèrement fleurie et une amertume restant plus prononcée que le Cascade.

Brewed at Raalte. 33cl bottle shared with the brewer. Thin tan head. Clear dark pour. Chocholate in the after taste. Very smooth.

’Green’, fresh hop aroma. Flavour has sticky sweet sugars mixed with the hops. Some resin too. Overall is sweet and a bit fruity with bitter hop finish.

33cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Hazy golden orange colour, dense white head. Aroma of light bready malts, very floral, light dusty, bit of yeast, light ripe fruits. Flavour is malty, dry, floral, nice light hoppy, some yeast, light bready, nice malty and hoppy bitter finish. Light to medium-bodied, soft mouthfeel. Really nice beer in the style of XX Bitter, Westvleteren Blond, Taras Boulba etc.

Bottle from Bierkoning. Slightly hazy amber, with slight carbonation and no head. Sweet, orange blossom aroma with some caramel. Flavour had more orange, some tropical fruit and candy sugar sweetness, leading to a dryish finish. Ok.

Glass from bottle at ABC Beers tasting. Pours murky golden with an off white head. Aroma is fruity, candy, some alcohol, spice. Flavour is medium sweet, light bitter with a warm alcohol finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Hazy brown beer. Semi soft and semi dry palate. Light sour malt, a touch of unsweet chocolate and a whisper of marmite. Finishes dry with just a trace of fruit. Competent.

Post Borefts I Invasion of Fonefan and Charlottes room tasting! Hazy amber beer. Softish palate, mildly fruity and malty. A little subtle spice. Easy drinking. Original 3.3

Cloudy dark amber beer, frothy short lived off white head. Light dry palate. Nice caramel malt fairly well balanced with bittering stingy hops. Marmalade orange, faint raspberry and a little Nelson Sauvin like blackcurrant. Finishes soft and a little dry with more fruit. Solid beer, good stuff.

Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, light hoppy, citrus, light yeasty. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration.
