Brouwerij Eembier is op 18 mei 2006 opgericht. Sinds 2006 brouwt Eembier al haar bieren volgens het Reinheitsgebot. Krachtige hoppige bieren zónder toevoegingen zoals kruiden. Onze Eembieren krijgen alle tijd om rustig te rijpen in de lagertanks. En dat proef je terug in onze smaakvolle bieren!

Sinds mei 2018 heeft brouwerij Eembier haar eigen brouwlocatie,
gelegen naast de haven in het pittoreske vestingstadje Elburg. In 2023 trekt Stadsbrouwerij Vos in het pand, en is Eembier weer een brouwerijhuurder, bij Huttenkloas.

Draft at Huppel de Pub. Poured a rich straw colour as one might expect with a thin white head. Nice fresh yeasty aroma with some citrus yeasty spicy bitterness in the flavour. I really liked this beer and it was very refreshing indeed. It reminded me of Duvel just a little, but without the alcohol burn. This is a beer I could easily drink all night and one night soon i’m sure I will!

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Fruity and citrusy. Bitter, fruity, light sweet citrusy. Bitter and crisp hoppy finish.. Simple.

Bottle in Fonefan room Borefts 4. clear gold thick cream head. Earthy orange aroma. Quite tasty this. Does taste of centennial. This was good. Really liked it

Bottled@Chriso Donkey Dork Lord Shindig 2011. Hazy goldeny orange colour with a mediumsized off-white fluffy head that gives some lace. Aroma is bready and quite sweet malts with some slight grassy and wooden notes. Mild yeasty and spicy notes as well. Flavour is yeasty, spicy, herbal and some mild toffee as well. Quite big on the grassy and floral hoppyness as well. Long yeasty and floral aftertaste.

330ml Bottle (Thanks Benzai) - Amber in colour. Tea, peach, grapefruit and yeast in the aroma. Hoppy and slightly spicy taste with notes of tea, sultanas, yeast and apricot.

On tap @ In De Wildeman (10 Sept 2012). Golden blonde color, somewhat hazy. White head. Aroma’s: malty sweet, citrus, tropical fruit, with more hoppiness retronasal. Flavor is medium sweet & medium bitter. Medium bodied. Finishes with a nice, not too harsh bitterness.

Draught @ pROOSt bierfestival Hilvarenbeek. Unfiltered according to the brewer. Clear yellow golden color, full sized white head that leaves a great lacing. Smell and taste malts, clearly centennial hops, a bit spicy, sharp, nice full bitterness. Full body, but you gotta like the sharp bitterness, medium carbonation.

Bottle shared at tasting. Pours clear golden with a thick medium white head. Aroma of light citrus, spice, light sweet malt, slightly herbal. Flavour is light moderate sweet and bitter with a fairly long bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation
