Part time brewery that started brewing in a converted farm building near Blatherwycke, Northamptonshire in 1997. A 2BBL plant is used. Brewery address c/o 25 Wansford Rd, Elton, PE8 6RZ.
Brewing ceased at Blatherwyke in Autumn 2022 and restarted at Kings Cliffe in April 2023.

11/2/2022. Cask at the 12th Elysian Winter Beer Festival. Pours slightly hazy golden with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is sweet, fruity, pineapple, sweet malt, orange, peach. Heavy sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, slightly creamy, soft carbonation. Not bad though very sweet.

24/8/2018. Cask at the 41st Peterborough Beer Festival. Pours clear golden colour with a small white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, grass, caramel and light tropical fruits. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, soft to flat carbonation.

[ As Rockingham Elton Cascade 2015 ].Clear light to medium yellow color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy and open, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, fruity, pale malt, spicy notes. Cask at the Peterborough beer festival 27/08/2016. A dark mahogany brown coloured pour with a lasting thin beige head. aroma is roasted malts, coffee, toasted pine, faint citrus. Flavour is semi sweet malts earthy roast faint coffee pine needle, grainy tannin. Palate is semi sweet grainy, moderate cask condition. Decent. Why would one age a black ipa.
