Commenced brewing in Spring 2015. Moved in 2016 from Crosscroft Industrial Estate, Appleby-in-Westmorland to new site. In 2019 the Brewery was bought by Bowness Bay Brewery and is now a brand there.

Cask (gravity) @ NWAF 2016, National Winter Ales Festival (2016), The Roundhouse, Pride Park, Derby, Derbyshire, England, DE24 8JE. [ As Appleby Middle Aged Spread ].Clear dark brown color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, bread, dark malt, roasted, moderate hoppy, wood. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, wood, roasted, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20160217]

Cask (gravity) @ NWAF 2016, National Winter Ales Festival (2016), The Roundhouse, Pride Park, Derby, Derbyshire, England, DE24 8JE. [ As Appleby Midlife Crisis ].Clear medium amber color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, apple. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration,apple, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. [20160217]

Pendle Beer Festival 2016. Amber-brown in colour. Bitter in character, but has a low bitterness allowing some decent tasting fruits through.

GraviCask, shared with Finn at Camra’s National Winter Ales Festival. Jet black body. Poor lacing. Dark malty nose, roasted. Caramel and nutty flavours with coffee grounds towards the finish. Medium bodied. Pleasing (The Roundhouse, Derby 19.02.2016).

Fra cask/gravity på NWAF i Derby 19 Feb 16. Delt med Rune. Svart. Bobleskum langs glasset. Lett røykaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken lett røstet malt med en tørr avslutning.

Gravity cask at Nottingham festival day two with fonefan, Charlotte & chriso. Clear bright golden color. Aroma of peppery straw. Taste is bitter lemon.
