Cask at Rail Ale ’16, 20/05/16. Rich amber orange with a decent light beige cap. Nose is juicy hops, bitter orange, caramel, light vanilla pod. Taste comprises caramel malt, tangerine, soft bread. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a light hoppy finale. Ok well balanced cask IPA but lacks hop presence.

Cask at Chesterfield Rail Ale Jolly with RB crew; clear amber pour with a thin beige head, biscuity malt aroma, taste has citrus action, pale malts, some caramel, along with a bitter finish.

[ As Wentwell Black Ram Stout ].Clear dark red brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, dark malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted, burnt, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20160220]

[ As Wentwell Barrel Organ Blues ].Clear dark red brown color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, caramel, moderate UK yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, UK yeast, dark malt, sweet malt. GraviCask, shared with Finn at Camra’s National Winter Ales Festival. Clear copper coloured body, missing head. Slightly roasted brown malty nose. Malt-fruity flavours with moments of caramel, oak, and earth. Dry bittersweet tail. Classic Brit bitter (The Roundhouse, Derby 19.02.2016).

Cask at Five Lamps, half shared with Finn. Naked surface, dotted spots on the glass. Deep amber-brown body. Leafy hops on the nose, brown malts beneath. Dark leafy hops to the taste buds together with caramel and liquorice. Bittersweet tail. Fine bodied. Pleasant (Derby 18.02.2016).
