500ml bottle - had this sitting round for ages. so I thought with replenishment due, I’d go this one first. Deep cloudy copper look, ridiculously frothy white head, looks very healthy. Nose is malty, a bit of fruit, yeast also up there. Lively C02 in the body, taste is a bit thin mind you, and LOADS of sediment. Not bad, and could do a session on this.

Bottle at chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig ’11. It pours amber, with a thin foamy white head and low carbonation. The nose is overpowering sulphur and rotten eggs. The taste is lime, cardboard, soap, egg, brown bread and toasted malt, with a dull bitterness in finish. The nose is far too off-putting to enjoy this one, even if the taste is ok.
