Bottle. It’s a clear deep golden colored body and a small off-white head. The aroma is quite fruity and bready, with a hint of smoked ham. It’s quite sweet on the palate, full-bodied and softly carbonated. Some warmth. Fruity-sweet flavor with bread, caramel, grains and grass. Long finish. Not the best bock in Norway. 221126

Mandariner, fiken, Kittys fruktkake og bokkøl - det skaper god førjulsstemning. 0,5 flaske fra nissens hyller i Verksgata, hjemme: lett uklar rødlig kobber/kastanjefarge med ok skum. Noe beskjeden aroma, men det tar den igjen på smaken. Deilig, lett krydret maltsmak med mørke karameller, nystekt brød, litt urter og citrus. Velbalansert helhet med karamell og ristet brød i avslutningen. Mild bitterhet og velegnet til helårsbruk.

Bottle. An almost clear one, golden in color, with a small white head. The aroma is fruity, with a light touch of pale malts and a hint of grass. No particular fruit standing out. It’s medium bodied and quite dry on the palate, with a nice bitterness. Fruity flavor too, on a backdrop of grainy malts. Some grassy hints and a touch of white bread. Medium length finish. Nothing particular going on here, but it’s a decent and flawless one. 220903
